Verdict

If you are looking for the best possible camera in a very pocket-friendly smartphone the Realme 7i is a definite choice. This phone has got a 64MP f/1.8 primary camera which looks very promising at least on paper. The combination of Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 and 90Hz HD+ panel is capable enough to run any application smoothly with very optimized battery consumption. Additionally, a 5000 mAh battery can easily cover an entire day with moderate usage with fast & reverse charging support.

If I talk about cons, I personally felt Realme should have provided Snapdragon 665 (at least), an FHD+ panel, and a 20W VOOC charger. These small improvements could easily make this phone best in class, simply unbeatable.

If you are looking for the best camera phone around Rs. 13000, go for Realme 7i (4GB+128GB) for a 64MP camera, 5000 mAh battery with fast & reverse charging, fingerprint scanner, 90Hz display otherwise, go for Redmi 9 Prime (4GB+64GB) at Rs. 9999 for better display (FHD+ resolution) but it lacks the fingerprint sensor.

Frankly speaking, Realme 7i 4GB+128GB variant is more value for money than 4GB+64GB.

Verdict

Realme Narzo 20A is definitely a budget allrounder smartphone for binge-watching or daily usage. The Snapdragon 665 is capable enough to run any application smoothly with very optimized battery consumption. Additionally, a 5000 mAh battery can easily cover an entire day with moderate usage. Even the real 12 MP f/1.8 looks good too.

If I talk about cons, Realme should have provided 18W fast-charging support with Type-C and an FHD+ panel. I agree, at the price of 3GB+32GB (Rs. 8499) providing an FHD+ panel is not possible. Instead, Realme could have launched only 4GB + 64GB variant with FHD+. But Again, this is brand tactics to cover a broader audience, so nothing to say more about this.

I really wish if Realme could manage to provide an FHD+ display at this price or for 500 bucks more. Just to remind you, Redmi 9 Prime is currently the Best mobile phone under 10000 in India as on date with an FHD+ display (no fingerprint sensor).

If you are looking for the best mobile phone at around Rs. 8500, choose Realme Narzo 20A (3GB+32GB) for 5000 mAh battery with reverse charging, fingerprint scanner, and Snapdragon 665 otherwise, go for Redmi 9 Prime (4GB+64GB) at Rs. 9999 for better display (FHD+ resolution) and camera but it lacks the fingerprint sensor.

Frankly speaking, 4GB+64GB variant of Realme Narzo 20A is not justifying its price.

Verdict

Realme Narzo 20 is one of the best budget allrounder smartphones for binge-watching or day to day operations. The MediaTekHelio G85 processor is capable enough to get you good frames in games like Call of Duty and the massive 6000 mAh battery is more than enough to cover 1.5 days of moderate usage. Finally, the 48 MP f/1.8 Primary camera at this price is like ice on the cake.

I really wish if Realme could manage to provide an FHD+ display at this price or for 500 bucks more. Otherwise, they should have priced it under Rs. 10000 to directly compete Redmi 9 Prime. Just to remind you, Redmi 9 Prime is currently the Best mobile phone under 10000 in India as on date with an FHD+ display but just 13 MP Primary camera.

If you are looking for the best mobile phone at around Rs. 11000, choose Realme Narzo 20 for a better camera (48 MP) and 6000 mAh battery otherwise, go for POCO M2 for better display (FHD+ resolution) but it lacks the fingerprint sensor.

This smartphone, Realme Narzo 20 Pro became the second phone to have 65W SuperDart charging after Realme 7 Pro, and at the price, it was launched is quite commendable too, though we will discuss that at later section.

Verdict

Realme Narzo Pro is a commendable allrounder phone for heavy multimedia users with a 90Hz IPS LCD display, MediaTek Helio G95, 48-megapixel sensors, and hasty 65W SuperDart charging. Even the Helio G95 processor is capable enough to get you good frames in games like Call of Duty. Everyday usage will be buttery-smooth.

As Realme became very aggressive to capture more market shares, it started to release phones with no or very little price difference. For example, Realme Narzo 20 Pro is quite similar to Realme 7 which was launched a couple of weeks back with minor alterations like downshifting to 48 MP Primary camera and added 65W SuperDart Charging, Surprisingly at the same price point, starting from Rs. 14999/- (more detail below).

I really don’t like this kind of strategy from Xiaomi, Realme, etc. every buyer almost feels cheated when a new phone get launch within a month or so. We are in a process to dig down why brands launch too many smartphones frequently, very soon, will keep you posted.

At this price point, I personally feel, Realme Narzo 20 Pro is a quite balanced smartphone, lets see how long it remains?

If you are planning to upgrade your Realme 6/7 to the latest Realme Narzo 20 Pro, I would not recommend that. It does not make any sense, wait for a few months. You will thank me later.

Verdict

Realme 7 Pro is definitely an allrounder phone for heavy multimedia users with a Super AMOLED display, Dolby stereo speakers, 64-megapixel sony sensors, and massive 65W SuperDart charging. Even the processor snapdragon 720G is capable enough to get you good frames in games like Call of Duty.

But I wish realme should retain a 3.5 mm headphone jack and 90Hz panel to make this package perfect. But to be honest Bluetooth earphones are becoming a new trend and soon or later we must have to let the 3.5 mm headphone jack go.

At a slightly higher price point realme X3 would also be a good choice with Snapdragon 855+, 120Hz display and better cooling mechanism but again realme X3 lacks Dolby stereo speakers, Super AMOLED display, and 65W SuperDart charging.

If you are planning to upgrade your realme 6 Pro with the latest realme 7 Pro, I would not recommend you. It does not make any sense however you should go for realme X3 or realme X2 Pro.
