Micromax IN Note 1 Review, Paisa Wasool Desi Smartphone?
Micromax made its comeback by launching two new smartphones on 3rd November 2020, Micromax In Note 1 & Micromax In 1B. These “Make in India” smartphones seem to have better value for money propositions ever. Mr. Rahul Sharma (CEO, Micromax) already confirmed earlier, “Micromax is coming back soon“.
Micromax used to be a very popular mobile brand in India. It has ruled the Indian Smartphone market for years, especially around 2010-2014 with its Canvas series smartphones and basic feature phones.
But later brand could not manage to maintain the pace and soon went out of track. Almost more than a year (2018 onwards) Micromax went into a hibernation-like state until its surprise comeback in October 2020.
Our heartiest congratulations to Micromax for a solid comeback in the market. I really hope this time brand will continue to provide the best possible value for money products and services to the consumers.

Verdict
If you are looking for a balanced and non-chinese smartphone with the latest technologies in the lower mid-budget segment, Micromax In Note 1 could be a very good Desi choice for you.
This phone has got a 48MP f/1.79 primary camera which should take crisp photos & videos. The combination of MediaTek Helio G85 and 6.67″ FHD+ punch hole LCD panel is capable enough to run daily life applications smoothly with an eye-soothing display experience. Additionally, the 5000 mAh battery can easily last more than a day for moderate usage, and thanks to 18W fast charging support, refueling this phone should be quick enough. Micromax put an effort to incorporate premium features like dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, VoWiFi, WiFi Direct at this price point along with pure stock android experience.
I personally felt Micromax did an outstanding job. Still, If we talk about the cons, I believe a few things like LPDDR4X RAM, 6GB RAM variant could make it more value for money. And finally, pricing is okay but could be more aggressive. These small improvements could easily make this phone best in class, simply an unbeatable non-Chinese alternative.
